Eisenhorn: Xenos is out and on sale, a Warhammer 40k action adventure

Eisenhorn: Xenos was announced early this year and launched initially on iOS in August, but a few days back it quietly became available for Android devices via the Google Play Store. The game was developed by Pixel Heroes and is loosely based on an eponymous novel by Dan Abnett and set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Sounds interesting, yes?

From our initial looks at Eisenhorn: Xenos, the game is graphically intensive, so this action adventure game will probably require some robust specs to run correctly on your device. If we evaluate it from the initial reviews the game had, you’d probably end up nowhere – it’s a mixed bag of people who don’t like the game and people who enjoy the game immensely. So you just better try it.

You play Gregor Eisenhorn, a character of the novel and the game will be from the character’s perspective. The gameplay is a lot like God of War and Batman: Arkham Asylum, with the developers trying to bring PC level gameplay to Android. Whether or not they succeed in doing this is your opinion – but there are people who enjoy the game for what it was, so it definitely appeals to a niche.

If the game sounds interesting to you, you can pick it up via the Play Store (link below) for the premium price of USD$9.99. As luck would have it, the developers have put the game on sale and you can pick it up for the discounted price of USD$5.99 today.
