Nougat-run Samsung Galaxy S7 spotted on GFXBench

If you’ve been wondering when the rollout of the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the current Samsung flagships will happen, you might be getting an answer pretty soon. Users have spotted a Galaxy S7 that is running on the latest major Android update on the benchmarking site GFXBench. Based on history, we know this means they’re almost at the end of the testing stage and therefore the actual rollout of the update is imminent, hopefully. That is, if you’re actually excited for your flagship to be Nougat-ed.

We already know that Samsung has been testing out the Nougat on the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge out there in Poland and that this has been going on for a couple of weeks already. But this is the first time anyone has spotted any concrete evidence that yes, this is actually happening. When something is benchmarked on sites like GFXBench, then it means they’re in the final stage already and so we can expect an announcement for the schedule of the rollout soon.

If you want a quick review of what the Android Nougat will bring to your device it comes with 72 new emojis so you can bring your emoji conversation game to another level. It also has a multi-window view which should please multi-taskers. The Vulkan API is a game changer for gamers and should make your graphics and visuals better. Plus, there’s a whole lot of customization options that should make your phone better

Let’s wait for the official announcement from Samsung as to when the official rollout of the Nougat update will come around to the devices.
