Rumored HTC Bolt images get leaked, no headphone jack on this one as well

The relative success of the HTC 10 as a phone that people would want to have must have been a great boost to the Taiwan-based manufacturer, even if it isn’t clear if it translated to heavy sales. This is because the phones HTC created before the HTC 10 – namely the HTC One M9 and the HTC One A9 – were such bad phones that really cost them their relevance in the market. So hopefully HTC will take this positive momentum and give us great gadgets again, like this rumored HTC Bolt whose reported images just leaked.

HTC is possibly due to announce a new phone for the end-of-year buying season, and it might just be this rumored new phone called the HTC Bolt. What we have for you is possibly the first detailed look you’re going to get of the new phone, so feast your eyes on the details.

You will have noticed the trademark unibody chassis. The HTC Bolt will probably feature a 5.5-inch display, with the resolution yet unknown. Other rumored specs will be 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, with microSD support. Also, you might notice the lack of a headphone jack, something of a trend these days. Obviously, the audio output will most likely run out of the USB Type-C port.

The main camera is also a point of notice, which is reportedly an 18MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 – if this happens, it will be an upgrade to the HTC 10’s very capable 12MP rear shooter. More information on this new smartphone as we get it.
