A new Note is coming. No, it’s not from Samsung but from Xiaomi in the form of the Mi Note 2. We’ve seen the leaked images on Weibo and Geekbench already and earlier said that it might have a dual curved display screen. We’re only waiting for the official launch since last month’s leak and looks like the phone is almost ready.
Xiaomi is believed to be launching the Mi Note 2 on October 25. That’s more than a week from today so the Chinese OEM should be more than ready. We’ve heard some information on specs already but still unconfirmed.
So far, we heard the phone will have a huge 5.7-inch screen with 1080p resolution, 64GB onboard storage, 4GB RAM, microSD card slot, dual 16MP camera system, Snapdragon 821 processor, and a 4000mAh battery. There’s another rumor that mentions there will be a 6GB RAM plus 128GB model. In a previous report we noted it will only have a 3600mAh batt and will feature a metal body design and fingerprint sensor.
When it comes to pricing, the Xiaomi Note 2 could be around $375—still mid-range despite the impressive specs we’ve listed. The teaser shared by Xiaomi should be enough to convince us that a Mi Note 2 is arriving.
